LinkedIn is getting into the ATS space.
REACTIONS: ATS providers look out - LinkedIn is moving into your neck of the woods. While this may be many recruiter's dreams, it could easily be a double edged sword. The tool that you use to find talent could also be used by others to steal your own employees. Also, while there seem to be diversity components, not clear how equity will be addressed. And, of course, what happens when you are targeting someone who doesn't have a LinkedIn profile? Yes, they are out there and you will still need to reach them.
VERDICT: READ IT: The ATS has many features that most recruiters dream of but it won't answer all your problems. If LinkedIn users don't keep their profiles updated or take time to have helpful ones - it may give some misleading information - especially for certain jobs. In short, we're very curious to learn more and better understand the full value proposition.
